How to book the Wessex Highlanders
We are more than happy to provide you with an individual tailored quote for your event. The band plays at a variety of venues throughout the year. If you would like to enquire about hiring the whole band, a mini band or even a solo piper, please complete the booking form below. .
The Band generally performs in the Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire area.
Types of recent engagement undertaken include:
- Weddings
- Funerals and Memorial Services
- Television appearances
- Sporting events
- Corporate events
- Concerts
- Burns Night
It is also possible to hire a Mini Band (typically minimum of 4 pipers, 2 snare drummers, bass and perhaps a tenor drummer) or even right down to a solo piper for a personal touch.
Every request is considered individually. Making a request places no obligation on either yourself or the Band until such time as formal arrangements are mutually and formally agreed.
Please bear in mind that the Band is composed of amateurs who give up their time to exercise their love of the music and they may not be available to play during office hours. However, booking smaller numbers may be possble.
